Administrative Support


Responsible for scheduling all outpatient visits within Grady Health System.  Process incoming calls, faxes and computer orders ensuring that all appointments are accurately scheduled in an efficient, customer-oriented manner.  Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.


• High School diploma or GED required
• Prior experience in appointment scheduling, patient access, billing, customer service or health care required
• Typing minimum 30 wpm, data entry, and customer service skills required
• Clear and pleasant speaking voice required
• Knowledge of medical terminology highly preferred
• Bilingual preferred
• Inbound high volume call center experience preferred
• Knowledge of Siemens OAS Gold/Siemens Invision health information system, word processing and spreadsheet programs preferred
