This individual, as part of the Production Support team within IS, will be part of a team that provides 24X7 production support services for the PeopleSoft Human Resources and Payroll application. The candidate should have management and technical experience with the ability to support a production environment with strong leadership, crisis resolution, team management, communication, analytical and decision making skills. The PeopleSoft Production Support personnel will be responsible for adhering to the PeopleSoft Production Support Strategy and Plan. This individual will provide technical and functional expertise in support of the PeopleSoft Human Resources and Payroll applications in a Windows environment. Specific emphasis of this position will be on core HCM, Payroll, Benefits Administration, Recruitment and ePerformance.
BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or a related field
5+ years of experience in supporting PeopleSoft (ERP) HR/Payroll modules is preferred, preferably with core HCM, Payroll, Benefits Administration, Recruitment and ePerformance.
Experience with FSCM 9.1 desireable
Experience with PeopleTools 8.5 desireable
Formal PeopleSoft training courses desirable
In-depth understanding of PeopleSoft architecture
Understanding of PeopleTools
PeopleSoft development experience desireable
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Good understanding of PeopleSoft configuration/log files
Working knowledge of different types of tracing (network, SQL, etc.) in PeopleSoft
Good troubleshooting skills for various components of PeopleSoft (App server, web server, etc.)
