The Trauma Program Manager, provides overall leadership, coordination and direction for the Trauma Program. This position is responsible for the organization of services and systems necessary for a multidisciplinary approach to providing care to injured patients. The Trauma Program Manager provides oversight for the product line processes and performance improvement activities as they relate to nursing and ancillary personnel regarding trauma care and assist the Trauma Medical Director in carrying-out the same functions for the physicians.
The Trauma Program Manager is also responsible for establishing, enforcing and evaluating structures, processes and outcome standards, policies/procedures, and services. This position provides oversight of trauma care across the continuum and is expected to provide overall guidance to nursing and ancillary personnel in the care of trauma patients of variousages (pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient population). The Trauma Program Manager assumes the day to day responsibility for the outreach and injury prevention activities relatead to trauma and works closely with the Business Development Department to ensure the success of the product line the success of the product line.
Bachelors in Nursing
Current Georgia License as a Registered Professional Nurse.
At least 3 years of clinical nursing leadership experience, preferably in an Emergency care environment.
